Egg Stool

Whether understood as a basic necessity or as a complex idea, the Egg Stool is a product of people learning to communicate through the universal language of design. Since the beginning of history the egg has been a symbol of new beginnings and life as well as a source of nourishment. Tucker, inspired to bring his designs back to the basics, worked with the Ifugao carvers to create an abstraction of something with which they are intimately familiar.
