Bean Chair

The bean being a primordial form, an embryo and a seed, it is nature’s inspiration. With the artistic hand and eye of the Ifugao sculptor, the bean’s scooped seat and slightly raised back embrace you. Carved from salvaged acacia in the tribal regions of the Northern Philippines, it is given an eco friendly finish here in our Long Island City studio.
